FLYING COWBOY 123 COLTS TOP HERITAGE PLACE YEARLING SALE DAY TWO

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—September 17, 2026 – A pair of high-priced colts by leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 dominated Thursday’s second session of the Heritage Place Quarter Horse Yearling Sale, led by the $425,000 session-topping Ol Glory B Flying.

Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney said. “A great crowd was on hand for the second session, and we look forward to the remainder of a great catalog.”

Hip 413, Ol Glory B Flying, brought the session’s highest bid when Aurelio Juarez signed a $425,000 ticket for the yearling colt. Consigned by 13 Racing LLC, agent for Bud Hill Quarter Horses LLC, Ol Glory B Flying is by Flying Cowboy 123 and out of Glory Rider, by Valiant Hero.

Another Flying Cowboy 123 colt, Hip 501 Hook Em Cowboy, was the session’s second-highest seller at $390,000. William F. Harned purchased the colt from South Fork Equine LLC, agent for South Fork Equine LLC/LS Racing Inc. Hook Em Cowboy is out of champion PJ Chick In Black, by Desirio.

Hip 497, Uptowne Jojo, completed the Day 2 top three when Bill Doenz purchased the Flying Cowboy 123 filly for $205,000. Jordan Wiggins, agent, consigned the filly, who is out of Uptowne Babe, by Mr Jess Perry.

Aurelio Juarez led all buyers through two sessions with two purchases totaling $443,500. LA Racing Stables LLC was close behind with 17 yearlings purchased for $442,000, while William F. Harned ranked third with two purchases totaling $405,000.

Rancho El Cabresto Inc. was the leading consignor through Day 2, with 13 yearlings generating $756,000. Lazy E Ranch LLC, agent, followed with 12 head totaling $503,000, and Marty Powers, agent, had 16 yearlings bring $477,500.

Flying Cowboy 123 led all sires by average among stallions with two or more yearlings sold. His 22 yearlings averaged $94,318 and grossed $2,075,000.
Apollitical Jess ranked second with 21 yearlings averaging $66,000 and totaling $1,386,000. Jess Good Candy was third with two yearlings that averaged $63,500 and grossed $127,000.
Among first-sale-crop sires with two or more sold, Eye On The Card led with two yearlings averaging $20,250 and totaling $40,500. Cyber Attack had nine yearlings with an average of $18,444 for gross receipts of $166,000.

Desirio headed the leading broodmare sire standings through two sessions, with two yearlings averaging $204,500 and totaling $409,000. Take Off Jess followed with two, averaging $113,000 and grossing $226,000. Big Daddy Cartel was represented by four yearlings averaging $65,750 and totaling $263,000.
