Jorge Haddad purchased Hip 419, the restricted Grade 2 winner and AQHA Racing Champion 3-Year-Old Colt in 2024 from the consignment of Solo Select, Agent—the six-time winner of $427,538 is from the stakes-winning Mr. Jess Perry mare Jess So Sky.
Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney said. “The numbers so far are very consistent with the overall results of the 2024 Fall Mixed Sale. We have a good selection of Mixed horses to wrap up the sale tomorrow and look forward to seeing everyone at Heritage Place for some good horses and seasonable Fall weather,” Kidney added.
Super Champion Inc. purchased Friday’s second-highest seller, Hip 446 She Looks Political, a 4-year-old daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess, for $85,000. Double A Ranch consigned the multiple stakes-placed filly from the stakes-winning First Down Dash mare She Looks Racy. The second dam is champion filly Miss Racy Jess, a half-sister to champion aged mare One Sweet Racy.
Double LL Farms consigned Friday’s third-highest seller, Hip 396 A Passon For Flashin, a son of champion First Moonflash from the Streakin Sixes mare Subtly Sixy. Oscar Martinez paid $83,000 for the restricted Grade 2 winner and multiple stakes winner from four crops to race.
Empressum TwoPoint O Partners is the leading buyer through two days with the $700,000 high-selling yearling in Thursday’s opening session. Jorge Hadad has three purchases for $366,000, and Abraham Harms has eight purchases totaling $210,000.
13 Racing LLC, Agent for Steve Holt & Jeff Jones, is the leading consignor through two days with one head for $700,000. Lazy E Ranch LLC, Agent, has 22 head grossing $367,500, and Solo select, Agent has four for $353,000.
Flying Cowboy 123 is the leading covering sire (by average, two or more sold) with two in-foal mares for $60,500. Kiss My Hocks sold two In-foal mares for a $40,000 average, and Dulce Sin Tacha had two in-foal mares for $37,500.
