Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – June 20, 2025 — Heritage Place is proud to announce the Quarter Horse Yearling Sale dates are now Wednesday, September 17, Thursday, September 18, Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20. The Pre-Sale Party will be on Tuesday, September 16.
Mark your calendars and be prepared for an unforgettable experience filled with exceptional yearlings!
“We are very excited about the opportunity to add a day to the Quarter Horse Yearling Sale. The breeders and consignors have continued to show confidence with the number of mares being bred and foals produced for Quarter Horse Racing. It has been 15 years since we offered this number of yearlings at the annual sale. I believe you will be impressed when you see the sire groups for the yearlings offered in this sale” said Spence Kidney, Heritage Place General Manager.
The entries poured in with 1000 being received by the consignment deadline, so the decision was made to add another day to the sale to accommodate breeders, consignors and customers to provide the best marketing opportunity for this year’s yearling crop. There will be approximately 250 yearlings sold each day, which will shorten the sale days and allow trainers and owners ample amounts of time to look at horses, view radiographs, make purchasing decisions and socialize during sale week. With the completion this summer of the second additional barn Heritage Place can easily accommodate the number of horses offered while providing great facilities, a positive customer experience and opportunities to view and market horses.
“It is the first ever 4-day sale in the 48 year history of this company.
