OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–NOVEMBER 1, 2024–A 4-year-old named Jess Dynasty B topped Day 2 of the Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale on Friday for $260,000.
Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale finished Day 2 with an average price on horses sold of $19,457, a 22% increase over the same day last year.
“We wish all buyers much success and look forward to tomorrow’s final session to conclude the 2024 Fall Mixed Sale,” Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney said Friday.
AQHA Champion Breeder Bobby D. Cox signed the $260,000 ticket for Jess Dynasty B, a stakes-placed daughter of four-time world champion sire FDD Dynasty. Granada Farms, Agent, consigned the mare out of Oklahoma Bred Derby winner Jess B Mighty by Valiant Hero. She is a half-sister to five black type.
Rancho La Cobra paid $220,000 for Remember Me Jess, Friday’s second high seller by leading sire Mr Jess Perry from the AQHA Dam of Distinction Remember Me Rose by Corona Cartel. Double LL Farms, Agent consigned the half-sister to stakes producing half-sister to champion Cyber Attack and Grade 1 winners Bomb Cyclone, Powerful Favorite, Cyber Monday, and Runforyourlife.
Bobby D. Cox consigned the co-third high-seller, Hip 452 Ozarke, a gelding by Corona Cartel from the stakes-winning Apollitical Jess mare Celtic Emblem. Navarrete Francisco paid $100,000 for the 2-year-old.
Shane and Brooke Snow paid $100,000 for the co-third high-seller Hip 442 Red Texas Sunset. Mike Logan, Agent for Copper Springs Ranch NM LLC, consigned the 9-year-old Mr Jess Perry mare out of Apollitical Time by Apollo. The full sister to world champion and leading sire Apollitical Jess was open.
Bobby D. Cox is the leading buyer through day 2, with one purchase for $250,000. Shane & Brooke Now have purchased five heads for $224,000, and Ranch La Cobra has one purchase for $220,000.
Solo Select, Agent is leading consignor or agent through day 2 with 19 heads for gross receipts for $476,200. Granada Farms had nine head grossing $455,500, and Burns Ranch Agent sold eight heads for $352,000.
One Dashing Eagle was the leading covering sire through day 2 (by average, with two or more sold), with two in-foal mares averaging $39,000. Love The Way You Fly had two in-foal mares with an average of $26,000 and first-crop sire Kj Mucho Macho Man sold two mares for $25,500 on average.
