2018 Thoroughbred Sale RESULTS
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – October 12, 2018
An Open Letter to Industry:
Heritage Place concluded the 71h Annual Thoroughbred Sale, Sunday, October 7th, 2018.
With a limited offering available, the Yearling Session saw a $5493. IO average, down 9% compared to last year but 83% of the horses offered were marked sold.
The Mixed Session average was $990 with 80% of the horses offered marked sold from this session.
The Thoroughbred Sale finished with an overall average sales price $2365.26 which is much lower compared to 2017, due to the low average and lack of demand for the horses in the Mixed Session.
Heritage Place would like to say “Thank You” to the consignors and buyers for their participation in the 7th Annual Sale and wish everyone much success on their purchases. Again, thank you for supporting Heritage Place and for allowing us to remain the place “Where Champions Are Sold”.
Sincerely,
Spence Kidney
