Speedhorse, September 23, 2016 – Day one of the 38th Annual Heritage Place Yearling Sale began promptly at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24 with hip numbers 1 through 278 selling. Attendance was high for the event and buyers were at the sale barn early, looking for their next yearling purchase.

Hip #259 • Eagles Tenaya, Sorrel Filly (One Famous Eagle-Lady Tenaya) sold by John Andreini for $70,000 to Gary Hoovestal. This filly is a half-sister to G3 All American Juvenile Winner DESIRIO si 116 ($256,786).
Hip #200 • Stihl The Won, Sorrel Colt (Mr Jess Perry-Shenoshercorona, ?) sold by Bobby D. Cox for $61,000 to Jose Vicente Contrara Pallivich. This colt is a half-brother to G1 AQHA Challenge Championship FAVORITE CARTEL si 105 ($607,669).
Hip #25 • Aeropodium, Brown Colt (One Famous Eagle-Modice, Strawfly Special) repurchased for $60,000 by Bobby D. Cox. This colt is a half-brother to G1 West Texas Futurity Winner NO DICE SPECIAL si 98 ($162,610).
Hip #42 • One Tempting Eagle, Sorrel Colt (One Famous Eagle-A Tempting Chick, Chicks Beduino) sold by Muller Racing, LLC for $60,000 to Jose Augel/Santos. This colt is a half-brother to Champion TEMPTING DASH si 112 ($673,970, Ntr).
