POLITICAL ROSE WINS INAUGURAL HERITAGE PLACE OAKS IN DOMINATING FASHION
OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok – May 30, 2022 – Political Rose was arguably the most impressive winner of the meet in the Heritage Place Oaks trials on May 8 when she won by almost four lengths. She was just as dominant in the finals, taking home the trophy in the inaugural running of the race for 3-year-old fillies.
On the trials night, the talented Political Rose, out of trainer Monty Arrossa’s barn, won so easily (3-3/4 lengths) that she was practically back in her stall asleep when the rest of the field finished the race. Her time of :19.444 that day made her the only qualifier in the top 10 under 20 seconds at the finish. So it was no surprise that she would dominate the field in the $278,600 Oaks final when she covered the same amount of ground in :19.598 for a speed index of 95 on the fast track. ↣ Read More
